Many here thought Dorsey was the guy in KC having all that personnel success. I did. But what if it was really Reid or a Dorsey underling? He was tossed out on his ear after a couple of years.

Dorsey might yet prove to be the hard headed idiot who believes all things old school, like hand injuries meaning you are injury prone and weak.

    • No, there's something wrong with Coleman. It's possible it might be coach-player related (and the coach, much like Sherman with TT, may be gone after this year), but more likely it's a stream off personality/behavior stuff, including 'being around' when his brother and a friend beat the shit out of some guy* (but Coleman 'didn't participate'), and skipping curfew with Kenny 'role-model' Britt. Not to mention dropping game-critical passes (including a possible game-winner against intentionally depleted Steelers which would have prevented 0-16, and crying about it afterwards). When a team is as dysfunctional as Cleveland, sometimes you just have to clear out everything and start over (again).

      • Always surprised this doesn't happen more.

        Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Rams DT Aaron Donald has until Tuesday to report to camp or he will lose an accrued season and become a restricted free agent after this season, as opposed to an RFA (EDIT: THINK ADAM MEANS UFA HERE). Saying that, Donald doesn’t care whether he’s an RFA or UFA; he’s determined not to play until he has a new deal.

        Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
If not in by Tuesday, Aaron Donald will become a restricted free agent after this season, NOT an unrestricted free agent. All irrelevant being that the Rams still would franchise tag him either way.

Kinda Surprised Rodgers is here. But he has been paid well twice already.

Ah. I had forgotten that. Makes much more sense that way.

of course, none of that negates your point about Dorsey. Cleveland is all his - other than the owner and the recent history of awfulness, Dorsey couldn't have landed a better spot for a rebuilding project, what with all the picks and cap space.

Yep. The owner is the other interesting part. I wonder if he relegates himself to insisting on one more year with Hue or if he continues to be his own part-time GM.

Like a far less effective Jerry Jones.

If he's smart, his three year guarantee with Hue will be the last of his meddling.

                        • Its "Why Your Team Sucks" season, Bears Edition

Best description of tooting for the Bears I have ever seen.

                          Matt:

When I was in middle school, I played flag football for one year. And because I couldn’t run fast and because I taller than most guys on the team, I was made the quarterback. I don’t have many memories from my time as the QB, except for when I threw a game-ending interception.

I was pissed and decided to throw a little fit on the way to the car afterwards, and my mom tried to get me to calm down by saying “Erik Kramer doesn’t act like this after he throws an interception.” I immediately started crying and said to her “you think I played as bad as Erik Kramer?” She immediately was like “oh, no honey, you played well” and tried to walk it back, but it was too late. Never try to comfort a kid by comparing them to a Bears quarterback.

                          • Brett Favre never cried after an INT either. He picked himself up, dusted himself off, and threw an INT all over again.

You need to have amnesia on plays like that. Because why would you want to learn from a mistake.
