  • Former NFL Head Coaches: A Fond Look Back

Mike Singletary gets another head-coaching job, at a Texas high school

Pegging this guy as all hat and no cattle was just about my favorite call on this board.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The kids will be in awe of him for a while, terrified for even longer, and then they will just hate his guts.

There was a Dane something on either JS or in here who just loved Mike Singetary as a head coaching prospect
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Then he will drop his pants and the party is over.

I guarantee there was more than one.

Or the party will just be getting started depending on your point of view.

You're an ass, man. Or an ass man. Depending on your point of view.

That's the thing about HS (and college) is that as long as phase 1 and 2 of the above last about 3 years for a kid, he can be successful, because they'll hit part 3 of the above as they're graduating.

God I love this thread. I was born in Fond look Back. Good ole Fondy! Spent many an hour as a kid fishing in Lakeside Park.
One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.
