LOWDOWN: Madison is lauded for his pass-blocking skills, playing in the Cougars' spread offensive attack. He started all 47 games he appeared in at Washington State, tied for second-most in school history. Madison started 13 games at right tackle and was named to the all-Pacific 12 Conference second team in 2017. At Kennedy (Wash.) High School, he played tight end as a junior (15 receptions) before becoming a three-star prospect as an offensive tackle as a senior. He was also an all-conference basketball player in high school. "Kind of a shooting guard, that whole deal. Had a jumper," Madison said. - Ben SteeleOriginally posted by pbmax View PostGBPG: https://www.packersnews.com/story/sp...cks/552404002/
LOWDOWN 2: Madison has been a four-year starter, 47 games total. Comments from Packers' Jon Eric-Sullivan: Cole can probably play inside. He'll probably start out at guard... We like that he played tackle. He's a big man. He's got good instincts. They're in a pass-happy offense. Has some position versatility... I think thought process is if you can play on edge, tackle, you have to have feet out there. We like taking tackles if we can.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
