Tyler Lancaster, DL
Wildcat fans know Lancaster’s story. His father, one of Northwestern football’s biggest supporters, passed away earlier this year. Wearing No. 1, Lancaster was one of the most inspirational Wildcats in 2017.
Although he was not invited to the combine, Lancaster surely made his pops proud at Northwestern Pro Day.
He weighed in at 313 pounds and was measured at 6-foot-3 — he’s a mammoth. His 36 bench press reps would have been fourth best at the NFL combine. Where Lancaster is uncanny is his agility and nimbleness for his size; his 40 yard dash (4.96) and shuttle times (4.43) were also fast for his position.
Lancaster’s lack of exposure and lack of pass rush ability will likely cause him to go undrafted (he had 3.5 sacks during his Northwestern career).
Northwestern DT Tyler Lancaster is gonna fit in with this #Packers DL group.. 6’3 - 313 lbs.. First thing you see is good consistent pad level, hand usage and hustle... Fought off double teams all season.

6-5, 301 pounds (5.46, 27, no bench)
Started for three seasons at right tackle with the Wildcats, but may be projected as a guard in the NFL.
Suspended for one game in 2015 for breaking a team rule. However, he was a mainstay from that point forward, starting 35 straight games to finish his time at Kentucky.

My sister tells me her husband's sister's son - Conor Sheehy DL Wisconsin - signed with the Packers yesterday. I'm guessing he is coming in to the rookie mini camp for a try-out. Conor grew up in the Milwaukee area so I'm sure he is thrilled for this opportunity.Comment

Isn't that nice, but I like Guys that play mean. The Green Bay Packers are no longer FEARED. Te Green Bay Packers are no longer difficult to scheme against. MM calls 'a Vanilla Offense that feature few twists, and when he even tries something different too often we see a FAIL.
We need to see TOUGH back again. We need to see MEAN back again. Is it the Conditioning and Training Staff to blame for all the adversity we see and Packers on the physically unable to play list?
