I got my worst sports injury in the first half hour of first practice senior year of high school. I was just prancing through those rope squares - "agility drill" - and my knee popped. All my life, people shake their head solemnly at my "football injury" that caused so much trouble. Such a violent and cruel sport. I try to look stoic. But really it was a hopscotch injury.Comment
