That was Wolf Division. You need to be in Thompson as I am not sure we will get to 16 (2-8 team Divisions).

Nope. We have to get to a final number by tomorrow. Then make a decision on one or two leagues. Then draft Wednesday.

If people need to move or delete, we will have another post.

14 teams looks like our number this year. We can do one league, one division, take top four for championship. Common draft.

OR

We can do one League, 2 Divisions, 4 teams in playoffs. Common draft.

Divisions. With that many teams, is it possible to do 6 playoff teams, with division winners getting a bye? More meaningful games late in the season that way. Just a thought.

Joe you are suggesting divisional drafts, only in-division play, and then a league-wide playoff with eight teams eliminated and six in? So it doesn’t matter that teams share common players when we get to the playoffs?

We are short of time (and short two teams) to do Divisions the way we normally do them, as separate Leagues (Wolf and Thompson) and then a manually tracked PackerRat bowl the last two weeks of the FF season. That is what has given us common players among different teams before.

This version of Divisions would be completely handled by Yahoo. 7 teams in each Division, but with inter-division play so no one has a bye week. Common draft for 14 teams, so this would not be an all-star kinda FF League. I am not sure what playoffs are available with 14 teams/2 Divisions but will look at the options.
