The more I read scouting reports, the more they seem like movie versions of newscasts or newsreels.
Containing a simulacrum of knowledge and foresight, but in most cases simply a poor parody.
But they are right often enough (see that guy's round grade) that you can't tell if they are bad writers or simply guessing. Sometimes a football player comes along who is not lightning fast, or extra tall, or deceptively strong, or even exceptionally intelligent, yet no other player/s on the team can match his heart. He deserves a fair chance to compete for a roster spot. Should prove to be a most interesting pre-season.sigpic
