Boyle is not an immobile QB, he just doesn't bail out in two seconds when the first read is not there.Originally posted by run pMc View PostNailed it!Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.

I think the thing I liked with Boyle was when given the opportunity, he actually threw the ball more than 7 yards down the field. For far too long, whenever anyone other than ARod was at the helm, the QB's would either do that dink-dunk thing or start looking to run. Boyle was not afraid to go vertical, and it led to some nice plays.Who Knows? The Shadow knows!

Kizer did that a bit in games 2 and 3 as well (didn't see game 1, so I can't comment). That's what guided me to wanting Kizer/Boyle vs anybody/Hundley. Hundley wouldn't push it down the field with regularity. He'd take shots, but they were the super safe ones.Originally posted by The Shadow View PostI think the thing I liked with Boyle was when given the opportunity, he actually threw the ball more than 7 yards down the field. Like Harlan, I didn’t watch the 2nd half of the finale. In the 1st half, however, Boyle couldn’t evade a monstrous pass rush to save a cow. I sense picks for Boyle whenever the protection breaks down or the wideouts aren’t open. But I like his arm.Originally posted by gbgary View Postyup.
