  • The Official Packers-Bears GameDay Thread

I believe an unwritten rule of Packerrats is, the game day thread starter gets to keep starting the official game day thread til the Packers lose. Well, for some uncool reason, I’d rather thunderdan not start this thread for the next 20-22 weeks str8t.

Therefore, allow me, Tank Elf Duke, your favorite poster not named Partial, your funniest poster not named Harlan, your humblest poster not named Madtown, to do so. Today, or tonight, the Packers win the 1st of 19 str8t!

    72-0, Packers.

Power to the Packers, right on!

Game day post, man I am ready for some football. Hoping this is a laugher, but I'll go 27-17 Packers "GO PACK GO"

      Packers lead all-time series 95-93-6.

Last meeting: 11-12-17 @Chicago Packers 23 Bears 16 Hundley 18-25, 212, 1-0. Packers led by Williams and Montgomery had 160 yards rushing to Bears 55.

Last meeting at Lambeau: 9-28-17 Packers 35 Bears 14 Rodgers threw for just 179 yards, but 4 TD's. Packers defense produced 4 turnovers.

Packers 17-4 vs. Bears with Rodgers at QB. Packers 18-7 under McCarthy.

      Packers 30
      Bears 20

Mack will be a factor early, but then fade. His available snaps are limited and when they expand them, he becomes less of a factor. Bulaga can handle him.

Packers Offense, having seen two positive signs this preseason, will finally prove to be unmanageable for a talented Fangio defense to handle with man to man underneath.

Start slow, the pull away. Packers 29 Bears 17

Cannot believe this is a night game.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

            From Peter King's FNIA Column

The Bears and the Packers, fittingly, will open the 100th season of professional football in Green Bay Sunday night at Lambeau Field.

They have met 196 times previously—194 in the regular season, twice in the playoffs. In those 196 games, this is the composite score:

            Green Bay 3,377, Chicago 3,377.

I'm with you on that - got up around 10, had a coffee and a little hair of dog (damn neighbours bbq'd chicken and ribs and we staggered out at 1am). Looking forward to and afternoon on the couch, but checked game time and was not amused.

Glad to see the system is working efficiently. There's no place for a fool like you in our Great Society.

Early games on my TV: Patriots-Texans, 49ers-Vikings

                      Evil-Don'tCare, Evil-Evil

Maybe I'll do some laundry or write up a report for work.

EDIT: Who am I kidding? I have to watch Cousins.

Working efficiently? The System? Lol. The System is fucked. But let’s leave it at that - I’ll more than happy to debunk whatever argument you have in FYI.... when my smart brain cells return.

You have the Sunday Tix to catch the Pack, I’m guessing. That’s fine and dandy. I used to pay 200 bucks 6 months a year just to watch the NFL on Sunday’s. Waste of frogskins when one’s only turning on the TV on Sundays. I cut the cord the day after the infamous playoff loss in the lost city of Atlanta a couple seasons ago.

Sucks that you were living in hicky Kentucky back in the days. You missed the day I shutdown Darren Charles.

Excuse me while i go hook up the antenna. I’m probably getting the same shit as you do, given that I also live in cold, dark and dull Wisconsin.
