Not a bad Sunday afternoon for this former Packer.

Yet, the Pirates of the Pacific are 0-3. For the record, I was in favor of retaining Jordy.

Stats are for losers, except when one shutdowns Darren Charles in a high school football game.

        Just to be fair:
        Game 1 - 3 catches 23 yards
        Game 2 - 2 catches 30 yards
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

          From what I saw
1st catch was pretty good scheme to get him open - noticed he got run down by a linebacker though.
2nd catch was good route running for the TD. He's always been good in the red zone.
3rd catch was really poor CB play -- dude was peeking in the backfield and Jordy ran by him.
4-6th catches were short gains, wasn't much separations but were savvy routes and good throws into tight windows.

He did most of his damage in the 1st half, I'm not sure he'll turn in many more games like that.

To be fair, all I referred to was a single "Sunday afternoon." Not the season so far, not what might be from here on out. Just "Not a bad Sunday afternoon."

Interestingly, in terms of yardage, it was his second best game of his career. I find that somewhat surprising.

I doubt he agrees, because they lost. He's had better games, even with fewer total yards.

This is a weird thread considering you started a thread to handle this stuff.

Well, I did qualify it by stating, "in terms of yardage, it was his second best game of his career. "

I thought about putting this in the other thread, almost even stated so; but thought I would do it this way to give one of you assholes something to bitch about. It worked well.

Jimmy Graham is even slower than I thought he'd be. Maybe Rogers just doesn't 'trust him' yet.

It wasn't so much giving help as it was giving an opportunity.

He's got a flat tire compared to his youthful self.

Guy can read a zone, knows where and when to "sit down".
