Maybe not. But no more recruiters, no more parents, possibly Greg Jennings sister. Ya never know.Originally posted by call_me_ishmael View PostChris Petersen makes 5M per year at Washington. He's not leaving to be an OC

Other times you forget that Chris Peterson is not Chris Ault and you like the idea of Peterson as HC better after reading wikipedia.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Nothing scooptastic. I am not aware of anything leaking yet about who they are looking at or talking to.Originally posted by Pugger View PostHave there been any reports by Wisconsin sports reporters about any interviews yet?

On second thought, I guess they would.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostDo you think the Vikings would let their OC leave after 1 year to go coach the Packers?I can't run no more with that lawless crowd

If Packers beat the Bears tomorrow (big if), they could very well go 4-0 under Philbin. Does he then become the favorite?I can't run no more with that lawless crowd

This guy with a kindred spirit as his OC- Gregg Williams and this is why:
'If not, defensively we’re going to come back and do it, pretty similar to how we finished the game on defense going all-out blitz. That’s the aggressive nature of this team. They accepted it very well.”
None of this 'Prevent' defense teams play all the time...go for someone's throat and tap dance on that thing...

I know this won't go over very well with many of you but even if Philbin goes 3-1 he is a legit candidate because he could get this rag-tag bunch to perform.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostIf Packers beat the Bears tomorrow (big if), they could very well go 4-0 under Philbin. I think he has to be viewed as legit because Murphy and Gute said he was. And they refused to say the same about Pettine or anyone else.Originally posted by Pugger View PostI know this won't go over very well with many of you but even if Philbin goes 3-1 he is a legit candidate because he could get this rag-tag bunch to perform.
The question is do they have the stones to say no if there is a groundswell among players and fans. Since this is their first/second big hire, I think they will be able to withstand even 4-0. You would need a playoff run to ensure the job I suspect.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Well, Pettine has already said he doesn't want a HC job. Don't really think there is anyone else on the staff who would be considered a candidate.Originally posted by pbmax View PostI think he has to be viewed as legit because Murphy and Gute said he was. If you go watch his interview in the media room from the week M3 was fired, he hedges an awful lot about never head coaching again.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostWell, Pettine has already said he doesn't want a HC job. Now, he could just have been trying to tamp down rampaging speculation, but he spent much more time being in love with his coordinator position then saying I'll never a head coach again. I think, in fact, he said circumstances could always change things. He did say he wanted a second year with this defense and these players though.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

That plus probably a new look to the offense to make that run happen. They could get a few bounces (or some Trubisky INTs) and win some coinflip games to go 4-0 but if no one can definitively say that Philbin re-stamped the offense to make it happen then I don't see him staying.Originally posted by pbmax View PostI think he has to be viewed as legit because Murphy and Gute said he was.
