    Quickly.
    I can't run no more
    With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
    Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up

Beat the Vikings. Beat the Bears. Lose to a couple of teams they should beat so Murph/Gute make the coaching change.

Question I do not have the answer to: When was the last time a team made the playoffs and fired their coach? Ever?

Option 3? - Tank the season.

Bears are winning the division. If the Packers even sniff the playoffs, they'll be a wild card and have the usual one and done game.

Tank the season. We get a top 10 draft pick. MM gets fired. Villagers rejoice.

Super Bowl. Fire the coach. I will take the heat.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I cannot in good conscience vote for either option.

                    I think he actually resigned.

In a lengthy meeting with Bills management, Mularkey stunned owner Ralph Wilson and newly appointed general manager Marv Levy by tendering his resignation after only two seasons on the job, ESPN.com confirmed. His departure will be confirmed by the Bills at a Friday news conference scheduled for 11 a.m. ET.

                      Super Bowl Champions, MM retires.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

Winning beats losing anytime. There's no guarantee McCarthy will be gone even if the Packers don't make the playoffs, and if the result is anything short of the Super Bowl, there's no guarantee is isn't fired or eased out.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Oh wait, you mean the Packer season, not New Years Eve. Gotcha. Man, my original post would have sent this thread to the Garbage Can.
