    Davis hurt?

Unleash Kum!!! We need an Adam Thielen, and Kum could be that guy. And I’m not just making that comparison cos they’re both pale-skinned. Wait, guess I am.

I have alotta respect for Thielen. In the Rams-Queens game earlier this season, Thielen got smashed hard one play, and refs wanted him off the field, and Thielen was like, fuck you, I’m fine! Wish Cobb was that tough.

What do Rollins, Randall, J-Alex, J-Jax and T-Will all have common besides having played corner for the Pack? Thielen made them wanker corners his bitch.

He did, against the Giants in 2007.

New from JSOnline and PackersNews: A ton of Packers from the 1996 Super Bowl team will be in Milwaukee for a reunion on Saturday (including Brett Favre) https://ift.tt/2QkvaV9 #Packers
Just so long as they stay in Milwaukee. But it looks like you'd have to pay 'em to come up to GB anyway. Favre $1000, Wolf $200, or both come up together for $1155.

Packers release LB Korey Toomer, sign S Eddie Pleasant.

The Packers originally signed Toomer on Sept. 3. He played in seven games and made three tackles while contributing mostly on special teams.

Pleasant arrives in Green Bay after playing his first six NFL seasons with the Houston Texans. He produced 86 tackles, 2.5 sacks, three interceptions and 17 pass breakups. In 2018, he spent time with the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals, the Packers’ Week 13 opponent.

Mike Pettine’s defense likely needed help at safety after losing Kentrell Brice to an ankle and head injuries on Sunday night in Minnesota. Pleasant also has vast special teams experience, a potentially valuable asset for a team dealing with a beat-up roster.

Pleasant, who will wear No. 35, originally worked out for the Packers on Oct. 18.

Pass protection and pass rush. Packers are pretty good at both. Which raises some interesting questions.

Previous post plus this one are from here: http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2...-rush-win-rate

Top individuals: Bach, Bulaga (very surprised by that) and Linsley are in Top 10 at position.

On defense, Daniels in Top 10 of interior defenders.

How can the offense improve immediately with the current talent and play level they've shown this season? I have an idea: Tall-Ball

Tall-Ball is probably the first 3 plays that come to your mind using that description.

So where the hell is all of the "Tall Ball"? The receivers and tight ends are tall as fuck and they're all very able to jump. The "Luxury Automobile", even at his age, should be at least on par with a Bubba Franks type based on his size alone. I think they can improve immensely just by emphasizing this simple physical advantage.

I think a few people will agree with this. I think Rand has specifically mentioned Graham.

Its been a mixed bag though. Graham got a down the seam chance versus a linebacker last week and Rodgers hit him in his hands. But Graham had an awkward jump, may have been coming down when he snared it and he never secured it. I think between injuries and bad offense, the Packers offense is way down on reps with the new receivers (young WRs only started playing recently).

Cook was firmly in the offense by the last 6 games of his year even with a midseason injury.

And I agree, he perfected the Favrian art of never being set when throwing. But the results haven't been quite the same since his second clavicle injury. Last year he was lacking strength, this year is inaccuracy.

The first step in conquering a problem is admitting there’s a problem. Coach Mike McCarthy, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the Green Bay Packers’

If the clavicles are an issue, solid fundamentals are more important than ever. He's in the 2nd half of his career, he can't rely on pure talent/athleticism anymore.

This is pretty much what I've been thinking. Rodgers is saying he's not doing anything different. Someone may need to convince him that he HAS to do things different.

That was a pretty high degree of difficulty connection. I just want Rodgers to throw above his shoulders on a some simple routes. Graham should win almost every short 'post-up' pattern. Just feed him the ball.

The knee injury has scrambled his game. It's a pretty fine-tuned thing. Shoulder one year, knee the next. Again, he played through something he shoulda taken several weeks of for - but they don't have a backup they trust so that's where we are. He's not permanently damaged, so if he takes some effort to retool his game, he should be fine. Watch some Brees and Rivers to get an idea how to become that disciplined older QB. High on the list of offseason offense retooling should be finding a way to replace taking sacks with tossing outlet passes. That should always be there, even if just to throw the ball at a RB/TE/WR's feet to avoid getting mauled and losing yards.
