Reggie was fired for having the unmitigated gall to take Gruden seriously and trade Mack and Cooper.

Seriously, he was fired because he was already on the way out the day Gruden was hired and blaming him for the trades will make Raiders fans in Las Vegas forget about the dope actually in charge of their team for an offseason.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Do you guys think he'd come back to GB or will he go to Cleveland?

Good question. Reggie worked the Pro side for a long time and I think he mentored Wolf the Younger.

Will be interesting to see what he does. He might hold out for a GM gig. The roster before Gruden was pretty good.

The only reason he didn't resign has to be the $$$. Still, he probably should have resigned instead of being fired. Even though I don't think all that much of his talents (as GM) , he deserved better.

He was a pretty good pro-personnel guy. Go somewhere his talents will be used. Cleveland is pretty stocked in pro-personnel (Wolf is head with three assistants), and he might be perceived as a threat to Wolf and Highsmith if he's hired.

What's Oakland gave for this? From this vantage it sure looked like he was doing a good job - Mack, Cooper, Carr are a good core. I honestly don't understand why that was blown up, except that Gruden wants to be able to say it's all him if they are successful?

Gruden will sell more season tickets in Las Vegas than Reggie McKenzie will.

Mark Davis is slowly learning how to play the game. He took Adelson and LV for a ride. Now he is riding Gruden. If he can get his butt out of his share of debt for the Stadium, he will really have realized a return on the team his old man hadn't done since LA.

The football will be subpar though.

Gruden didn’t sell a ticket In Vegas. MGM and Caesar’s bought all the tickets. There will be more visitors than home fans each week. Want to go to the game in Vegas? It is going to cost you a 2 night stay on the strip or top of the tickets unless you are gambling big.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

You sure they bought them all?

40 -50 thousand I heard when I was in Vegas in May. The hotel groups were drooling over getting the tickets.

people will be going to see the teams coming in...not the raiders. if i were in vegas for the weekend i wouldn't go to a game there unless GB were playing them. the black hole guys might make that trip every week though lol.

It's like the Golden Knights. Going there for a Wild game in March.

OK, but at 65,000 capacity, still not a sell out. Gruden is doing marketing work. Local interest will only help the bottom line.
