  • Official Packers vs. Bears II Game Day Thread

Packers lead all-time series 97-94-6. 96-93-6 regular season, 1-1 playoffs.

Last meeting at Chicago: November 12, 2017: Packers defeated the Bears 23-16. Brett Hundley completed 18-25 passes for 212 yards and 1 TD. Ty Montgomery rushed 6 times for 54 yards and 1TD. Packers defense gave up 297 yards and 1 TD to Trubisky and sacked him 5 times.

The Good News: Packers have won 7 straight at Chicago with Rodgers at QB, 8 straight overall.

The Bad News: Packers are 0-6 on the road this year, and haven't won consecutive games all year.

My heart says Packers can win this one.

    My head says:

    Bears 24
    Packers 17
    I can't run no more
    With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
    Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
    A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

    Packers in a surprising blowout.

    Packers 17
    Bears 6
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

It’s snowing in Chicago? If so, what’s surprising about it?

Mathematically, 17-6 does not constitute blowout. 56-3, maybe.

Packers run the ball over 25 times this game and win.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Packers win and Kumerow gets a TD

Winning today will be one tall order. These damn bares took care of the Rams last week. With Spriggs at RT Rodgers is gonna be running for his life with Mack in the backfield all afternoon.

                  #Packers inactives:

                  QB Tim Boyle
                  CB Natrell Jamerson
                  OL Bryan Bulaga
                  OL Adam Pankey
                  OLB Kendall Donnerson
                  NT Kenny Clark

Losing Clark is a huge blow for a defensive line already without Mike Daniels.

This is enormous. We have trouble stopping the run with Clark. Bears won’t have to throw the ball.

Spriggs at RT means they get creative. More 2 back looks and move Jones/Williams around. They don't constantly push the ball downfield but hit a shot play today to Cobb.

So that leavers them with Lancaster, Looney, Mount Adams and Lowry on the DL. Time for Adams to show he's not a bust.
