    At this point based on all I've gathered it continues to look like Melvin Gordon's stare down with the Chargers will last into the regular season.

    Will be interesting to see when he reports. He needs a year of service to get past his rookie deal and be a FA.

      Even less when you think that if Seattle doesn't resign him, they could get a likely 3rd or 4th round compensatory pick back a year later. He could be a real cheap one year rental.

        Texans are flush with cash too. Makes you wonder why he was so easy to let go. Knee issues lingering?

          He's a great run defender and can play anywhere on the line, penetrate and make tackles. But he is not a 10-12 sack a year guy yet. Between that and the knee, probably did not want to invest.

          But had they avoided infighting (the year one GM was fired in the late spring) they could have unloaded him like the Seahawks did with Frank Clark for picks this year and make out like bandits.

          But they blew that opportunity to have an internal power struggle.

            Vikings waive Kaare Vedvik

            You'd think that the inability of football head coaches to fathom the intricacies of the kicker position would give some lessons in humility about how much they do not know. This doesn't actually seem to happen very often though.

              Full Terms: The #Texans get LT Laremy Tunsil, WR Kenny Stills and a fourth rounder. … The #Dolphins get 2 first-rounders, a second rounder, ST Johnson Bademosi and OL Julien Davenport, per me, @MikeGarafolo and @TomPelissero.

              Coming this fall, Bill O'Brien is Hue Jackson, a man who has one last chance and the odds are stacked against him. The owner has died, he couldn't hire his own GM and now the jobs all fall to him. Starring Wesley Snipes, Liam Neeson, Kevin Costner, Reggie McKenzie, Greg Jennings's sister, Chris Rock and Pat McAfee.

              Rated R.

                  Liam Neeson is bad casting. There are very few Eastern Europeans in the NFL for him to slaughter.

                    After cuts today, Broncos, Colts and Seahawks have only starting QB on roster.

                        He could team up with Zimmer to murder all the kickers and punters.

                          Less flush with cash than before:

                          @AdamSchefter
                          Capper to Saturday’s trade: Houston paid Jadeveon Clowney a $7 million signing bonus while Seattle is paying the remaining $8 million of his salary, per source.
                          Seattle also promised not to tag Clowney after this season, per source.

                          Someone should edit the wikipedia page for fleeced to include this example.
