The Official other Teams and General NFL News (includes) Management and Coaching moves.
Oh. I thought he was referring to red-tailed hawks - birds. Whatever.
I lack the ability to post pics - like some lame-assed posters in here, but I did find a link with pics of what I was jokingly talking about https://www.google.com/search?q=ape+...hrome&ie=UTF-8. I don't know about the evolutionary expertise you exhibited, but I think orangutans have that red ass more than other simeons. In any case, whatever. They never shoulda been so stupid - and "woke", which is an extreme form of stupidity - to change the name in the first place. But since the damned deed is apparently done, naming the team for the Tuskegee Airmen ain't too bad an idea.
First of all, screw you for making me look ass pics of baboons. That said, baboons are monkeys, which is why they have tails. Orangutans are apes and apes lack tail. Prof Rand, biologist, agrees.
“Redskins” is an offensive, racist and derogative term. Snyder only opted to “retire” the name after his greed-fucked pig sponsors somehow became woke and threatened to boycott the team. Regardless, I’m glad “Redskins” is about to be history.
I Kinda hate to share this but I just installed a digital antenna in anticipation of getting rid of DirecTV. I will not be doing the NFL package anymore. The wife and I are writing up a letter to the Packer organization. Our kids were in the season ticket queue and we’re dropping that too. I’m giving up on the Packers and the NFL. Don’t like it but I’m done cheering for people who hate my guts. Maybe they will come to their senses, but I doubt it. Even in that case, I find myself caring less and less as the years go by.
You could do what ole Tex does yearly and start a new DTV account each season. Or bluff and threaten to cancel your current account altogether. ATT likely will give you the Sunday Tix for free or at a discounted price to discourage you from cutting the cords.
But if you’re like me, and you’re disgusted at the NFL for it’s unjust treatment of Kap, then yes, more power to you for getting rid of DTV, especially the Sunday Tix.

You're welcome hahahaha - you probably enjoyed it. Thanks for the zoological info. You must have minored in Biology along with your Accounting. I minored in Geology along with Business and Econ., so I'm not up on baboons, etc. (no pun intended on the word "up"). You should know from your other expressed area of expertise, though, "tail" doesn't always mean that wagging thing.
As for your last paragraph, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I guess you're on the side of those "greed-fucked pig sponsors", huh? That must be kinda uncomfortable for you hahahahaha.
The best name I've seen was the Washington Orangeskins. The logo was the same but with somebody else's pic replacing the Indian head. I bet you can't guess who. I'd say, but like you, I don't want to get banned for politics.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?
Have to imagine NFL is following NBA and MLB closely for covid, in game transmission, public perception, etc.
While I don’t think much of covid for <35 - the staff and coaches could be a some risk.
Would you be open to Divisional Bubbles and a Playoff Bubble?
Ie - NFC North plays all games in Detroit in a bubble. Each team would play each other 3 or 4 times and Division champs make playoffs (in a lagger bubble).
I just envision a handful of teams with 20% infection and the whole thing falling apart pretty quick.
I’d rather have Division games than none at all...
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

"Not really interested in being a spoiler or an underdog. We're the Green Bay Packers." McCarthy.
Personally, I don't have a problem with ANY of these sports playing in a bubble. However, I think the reason the NBA is able to pull it off is because they're only doing the last few regular season games and the playoffs. I'm not sure MLB and NFL players are going to be easily convinced to play that long of a period like that.
