I saw Don Imus in a hotel parking lot after he got fired for the nappy head comment or whatever the fuck it was. He looked a sad, washed up, beaten late middle-aged dude wearing a lame cowboy hat and boots.

The morning TV/radio show that Imus did on Fox Business was actually very entertaining. He had a good crew.

Leading his NY Jets to victory over the Colts in Super Bowl III secured for Joe a permanent place in NYC sports. His knees let him down, but his celebrity has supplied him with a fine life. Few others can boast such post sport carrier longevity. Dick Butkus and Jerry Rice come to mind, but to be able to walk into any bar in NYC for 50 years not have to pay for your drinks, is extraordinary. Joe was also a magnite for women. I can only imagine that he lost count of his bedroom partners.

No, I can't fault Joe, he did very well.

Why should I care what Joe or Brett or even some NYC Shock Jock have to say about anything. Too many have been brainwashed over the last 20 years to believe that every comment on social or any other media is important/relevant. I respect Joe, but let's not get carried away with his importance. I understand that this time of the year is a low point for sports stories, but let's try to not sink to reaching for importance in the unimportant.

That's right. Packerrats has been long a bastion of high-thought, heavy discussions and deep thinkers. Only the best and the brightest here. Let's not sully our reputation with shoddy threads like this one.

I feel ya, Radagast. All we really have is time, and you'll never get back the precious moments you spent watching those insipid videos with an aged-out playboy.
But stick with it, my man. Up next are the Mark Gastineau sessions and those interviews are gonna be lit !
