OK, serious fan question time. Who are the Game Day active 7 offensive lineman? Or two active backups I suppose.

If Bach–Taylor–Linsley–Turner–Bulaga start, gotta have a tackle and interior.

I am guessing Light and Patrick. Unless they really trust Jenkins as center, which they might.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I think you've got it right. If they felt Jenkins was ready to start a game, I think he'd be starting over Taylor.

Yep. He was hired by the Packers when Wolf was still the GM, and although he worked more with Thompson, he reminds me more of Wolf than Thompson.

Still could happen, though I suspect we'd get word if it was. Keeping Taylor as backup is expensive.

You never want to press a rookie into the starting lineup on game 1 if you don’t have to. Installing a new offense, I think it’s helped a lot that everyone of the starters, not just on the OL, but across the board, has a decent amount of NFL experience. And up front they have a ton of experience so just the communication and checks and protections should be smooth.... That is worth something. Glad we have Taylor for another year at least.

I'm surprised Cole Madison made the roster. I didn't see a whole lot from him during any of the preseason games. I'm guessing his 5th RD draft status and taking a year off bought him a reprieve.

Only sign that the Packers really liked him was about a week ago. Coach Stenovich was asked about him and he said, he’s doing a nice job but that he thinks in a year or two the Packers are really going to be happy to have kept him around. Coach made it sound like he had a ton of upside. With 8 guys who can play right now, i started thinking Madison had a good chance at getting a redshirt high upside year.

Montravius Adams is another guy who we kept around based on long term upside. And that one is paying off now. Madison has that sort of feel to him, more of a long term development.

Packerswire reporting St. Brown placed on season-ending IR. I thought he was originally on 53 roster so he coild be brought back.

There's a lot to like about him. I don't think Packers could have gotten him to the PS.

Bad original report. He did not make the roster.

Notable moves: The #Seahawks cut QB Geno Smith, giving them just 1 QB behind Russell Wilson. … The #Packers placed WR Equanimeous St. Brown on IR, his season is over. … The #Patriots placed D David Andrews on season-ending IR.

Agree. He doesn't seem to hesitate if a guy isn't up to the task. Like it.

good call. You've been on fire/on the money this whole off-season, pre-season and beyond.

He should land on the practice squad.
