This thread is about players released that Gooter may or may not look at.

Jordan Willis released by the Bengals.

He checks the boxes of what Gooter looks for aside from weight. Super athlete, super long. Could bring him in for a looksie.

Tim Williams. Love the signing. Dude was a beast at Alabama. Hasn't done much in Baltimore. Gooter right hand man clearly knows him.

Since everyone hates Gary cuz he didn't get sacks in college, they should love this kid. That scout we hired from Baltimore likely had a say in this.

I can't get too excited over an outside linebacker released by a team who lost both of their starting outside linebackers from last year.

Perhaps Lawry and Lancaster can throw Williams at an opposing RB.

Could be legal since throwing the RB into the end zone is now legal apparently.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Many dislike Gary because he's all hype. Most highly rated recruit coming out of HS. And now a top 12 pick. He's was an under performer at Michigan. I hope he lives up to the hype in GB
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

lol, don't be bitter. They won that game.

he only has one ST snap this year too, so it's not like we got Crawford back. But, wait and see, I'm not sure what their intentions are - maybe he's only here this week just in case because they're facing a running team. Might not even be active tho.

Honestly? I want more of that.

Agree...but being an optimist I'll look for my silver lining. I wanted Burns because he was a twitchy edge bender and we don't have a guy like that on our roster. It seems to me that this guy is a poor mans Burns. Maybe they can coach him up and use him situationally against immobile QB's and get some use from him.

KUDOS to some of your draft analysis lately

I remember you loved the Dallas 2nd yr ILB who they drafted in round one as well.

He turned out to be a stud pick

I think it's a foregone conclusion and makes way-too-much-sense for him to end up in New England. Trade the 32nd pick for a super bowl and a stud LT. Replace Marshmellow. Book it.

And then Washington to get Nate Solder from the Giants to complete the cycle of rejuvenating the Patriots.

                            @RapSheet
With #Jets DL Leonard Williams headed to the #Giants, both teams are hoping for more. NYJ continues to shop WR Robby Anderson, while NYG has shopped and is open to dealing Janoris Jenkins, Alec Ogletree and maybe Nate Solder.
