And yes, I feel I counteracted the Favre Curse by my attendance. I was not at any of those previous games where he attended so me and Brett are 1-0 baby!

Like going camping and everyone is from Illinois all of a sudden.Originally posted by esoxx View PostYeah, it was like battling a wild fire. Every so often a flare up would occur, and we would quickly put it out before it got out of hand.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Since we're taking responsibility... I'll take the blame for the offense lack of production the 2nd quarter on. Last year against the Bears in week 1, we didn't do anything until I turned the game off. I wasn't able to watch until the 2nd quarter which is precisely when we started sucking. I'll be more careful in future weeks, and if I just have to not watch anymore games for us to win the Superb Owl, I'll take one for the team.

I think turning volume down on TV in first half helped. However, I had to turn it back up due to the weird officiating.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

This strategy is not unprecedented in Packerrats lore. Pittstang employed this tactic I believe during the 2015 season, taking personal responsibility as whenever he watched, he says they played beyond bad. I believe he settled on listening to the game on radio in the garage and their fortunes improved almost immediately.Originally posted by channtheman View PostSince we're taking responsibility... I would not advocate not watching games or even turning to the radio. Maybe just try watching the game in a different room than you normally do. Regardless, good luck on your journey.

I'll keep everyone posted in the future... but due to life circumstances, I might not be able to watch next week live. That will be a big test if that ends up happening.Originally posted by esoxx View PostThis strategy is not unprecedented in Packerrats lore. Some of our most proud moments. Packers would punt or fumble and Pittstang would head for the garageOriginally posted by esoxx View PostFunny you remembered that garage stint as well. Legendary.
