  • The Official Pack-Queens WK 2 GameDay Thread

Last month, I worked a shitload of voluntary OTs, all with the aim of purchasing a 65” curved Samsung TV to watch my beloved Pack this fall. Over did it and now my upper left leg (groin/thigh) is fucking with me. Consequently, putting off on the purchase til, hopefully, the leg gets resolved. I mean, doctor appointments aren’t cheap, and this goddamn country still - viciously - lacks UHC.

I’ll like remind y’all once again that Todd fucked up big when he took Perry over hip hop safety Harrison Smith.

    Pack 72, Queens 0

    Power to the Packers!

    Tom Oates blaming the fans.

30 years of success will do that. There are two ways for them to fix this, neither will they want to try.

Be bad for a decade or get new season ticket holders.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

The cold, hard truth is that Packers fans aren't what they once were. Most of the time, the team has to do something good on the field to get them

Be loud, but remember to be quiet too.

When Rodgers asks fans not to do the wave when the Packers have the ball, there’s a reason for it. It’s simple, really. Loud cheering always accompanies the wave and today’s offenses work best when there is no noise. That gives the players time to communicate changes in blocking assignments or even plays. Conversely, generating noise hinders the visiting offense in a variety of ways.
The request is understandable, but a man getting a free ticket to the game (and lunch) shouldn't be making this case.

Ugh. Turning into a NBA game.

The Packers tried some new things to get fans revved up during the preseason, employing a foghorn in the first game and dimming the lights after scores in the second. They have more planned for Sunday, including new music and players appearing on video boards reminding fans to get loud and stand up on defense and to remain quiet and seated when the offense is on the field.

Yeah don’t need that NBA ear splitting bullshit. Either fans are loud or they ain’t. Seriously a lot of fans don’t stand because they are too out of shape to do it. Obesity level at a Packer game is higher than an indoor water park.

My favorite away stadium ever was Cincinnati. Great tailgate, the fans are friendly and they stand and cheer the whole game. Plus, sat near the orange Storm Trooper. Cool dude.

You have to exceed expectations to get the fans involved. I don't think I attended a game that year, but Run the Table in 2016 was probably pretty loud. Last year, probably not.

You want the fans to be loud on defense? Give them a reason to be loud. Play good defense. Fans are louder on 3rd and 10 than they are on 2nd and 1.

Lambeau has a bad culture. Period. Especially in September when the geezers show up. Not only are they too aged to make noise, they’re also crotchety and bossy and tell people to sit down and tell the security people are standing. I’ve been there. It’s awful.

I love being loud and helping the team on defense. As a fan it’s the only way to contribute.

November and December games are loud. Bunch of drunk rednecks. Perfect.

The stand up, get loud videos will at least stop the crotchety geezers from having security quiet the fans who are actually helping.

And frankly, the NFL is about winning. People who can’t handle their fan duties, I hope they don’t go anymore and enjoy the game from the quiet, civil comforts of their homes or the indoor box seating, worst case. At least then they’re not wrecking the hostile environment we’re trying to create.

I’m pissed off right now just thinking about the shitty Lambeau atmosphere. The videos are a great idea.

Demovsky and Twitter is talking like Bach is almost a game time decision. Expectation is he starts, but no one is certain it happens.
