Defense had 0 turnovers. 0 sacks. 0 TFL. 2 PD, both by King. P Smith had 2 tackles, Gary 1, Z Smith 0. Defense just didn't make anything happen tonight.

Lots of ugliness especially on defense tonight. What really amazed me was watching Clark and Martinez getting blown off the point of attack play after play after play. Philly moved those two wherever they wanted them to go all night.

Pettine had a terrible gameplan and never adjusted. He was content to let them run it down our throats.

All I know is that wist is in midseason form of showing up only when there is something to complain about.

But with the coaching and GM changes, wist is in for some rough seas. He was against, before he was optimistic, before he became against Gary this offseason. He was also positive about Pettine until he wasn't.

Well, I'm assuming he thinks going with Summers instead of Redmond, but then you're taking a lot of chances in coverage. Same at the line position. There are no other linemen on the sidelines to put in there to stop the run. If you go four down linemen, you're opening up the back end. And last night, Clark was getting doubled and they had a body on Martinez every play almost. I think maybe they were hurt (Z Jones) and maybe a bit tired. Also, the reality of this defense is that it really isn't a great a run stopping D. A lot of their OLB talent is better at pass rush/coverage.
