Hey when you capture video from the other sideline, you're definitely seeing what others miss! lol

Remember at the end of the 1st half M4 calls a TO and then Rodgers uses the 59 seconds he saved to drive the field and put 7 on the board?

How about right after the Eagle player got hurt at the end of the game and we came out of it and called a running play to burn the clock down so that if we did tie it Eagles would have no time to win with a FG?

Fat Mike wouldn't have done either of those things. Both were very smart coaching plays. I am liking M4. I like his approach. I like his record.
Wait, are you really saying Stubby wouldn't have called the TO at the end of the half to get another drive? People tore him a new one for doing that the times when it backfired. Still, he had a great run where they were scoring at the end of the first half and the beginning of the second. It really was one of his calling cards until things went south.

I used to watch him allow the clock to burn all the time. The few times he did call TO in the situation were when our O was struggling and no one actually wanted them on the field again.

lol. OK, you've "convinced" me. Stubby never made this practice work.

I am pretty sure M3 would be looking to drive before the half.

I barely remember an Eagle down on that drive. When did it occur? They had the clock in a good position at the end of the game, I'll give you that.

I took it as happening during an all hands team meeting. But he could have been referencing a PC.

I'm moreso interested in the leadership aspect and how he kept the ship steering in the correct direction for 20 years. Amazing and unprecedented in a game of egos, money, drama.

I think we'll know how the Murphy really is as a president in the next two years. I still think he walked into a good situation - I'm pretty sure he was hired when TT was already in place, so all Murph had to do was let it roll. You could argue he waited too long to recognize that Thompson's health was impinging on his ability to do the job at the level necessary, but if you cut him that break, it's still clear that the moves after Thompson's "retirement" are all Murphy's ideas about how to run an organization. So we'll see how this strange, three-headed monster works out. If, by the end of next year, the team is not clearly on the upswing, with a plan of succession for Arod and a clear sense of LeFleur having what it takes to be a successful NFL coach, then I don't think you can keep Murphy around and expect things to get better.

If Murphy was doing his job, Gutey would lose his parking spot until he dumped Graham onto another team living on the past. Raiders or Titans. Maybe Buffalo.

Rodgers was asked what was different... he said guys are empowered to be themselves and let their personalities shine. Said it’s organizational.

Murphy seems to be doing something right. Might be a good thing he took charge and cleaned up a situation that was getting toxic. Looks like he might have found a diamond in the head coach too.
