    Who?

Grant, a 6-foot, 194-pound sixth-year player, was originally drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fifth round (No. 142 overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Tulane University.
He played for Washington for four seasons (2014-17) before spending the 2018 season with the Indianapolis Colts and the first three weeks of this season with the Oakland Raiders. For his career, Grant has appeared in 80 games with 26 starts, registering 123 receptions for 1,333 yards (10.8 avg.) and seven touchdowns. From 2017-18, he started 17 of the 30 games he played and registered 80 receptions for 907 yards (11.3 avg.) with five TDs. Grant will wear No. 11 for the Packers.

Is he on the PS or are they going with 2 RBs again?
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

        Maybe Dexter gets his chance?

I doubt Grant is practice squad eligible.

Packers sign a WR who played for Oakland earlier this year as they are days away from playing Oakland.

He probably shouldn't sign any long term leases.

This Ryan Grant has multi-team NFL experience. GB must see the same qualities that those other teams saw to take this chance on him. He may see 1 or two plays vs The Raiders, but not much more as he will need to learn the GB offensive system. Also, sometimes a player from another team/s was never really given the chance to standout due to other players getting the ball.

I can't say how well Grant will fit with the Packers, but let's give him a fair chance. I was against acquiring another WR at this time, but will be willing to be fair about it and give him a fair chance to prove his worth.

                  A fair and timely question.

Also, when can we expect Adams to return?

Did he sign a one day contract to retire a Packer? Should be in the Packer HOF.

I am in a dynasty league and had Ryan Grant until 2 weeks ago. He belongs on an NFL roster. He probably helps us if Allison is out as we are down to 4? WR I think. He isn't a long term solution, just another #3/4/5 WR to fit with our array of those guys.

I'm sure your right, but could it be that Grant was on teams that under utilized him and/or did not have a reliable QB? Perhaps he will have better chemistry now with the Packers. Let's hope he is a diamond in the rough.

They needed a vet WR to play in the slot and Grant can do that. If I understand Adams' injury it's a torn ligament in the toe so that will likely be what...4-6 weeks? G-Mo has a concussion, I doubt he'll be back and even if he is he'll be on a snap count. He hasn't been that productive anyway. So... that leaves you with a 2nd year Day 3 project (MVS) and a bunch of UDFAs at WR. Rodgers won't be able to force feed Graham or Jones and move the ball down the field with consistency or ease.

I think it's a decent pickup for them...doesn't cost them anything and it gives them a more proven option than Sheppard.

I'm not gonna say anything bad about Grant until he has a chance. I will say, though, I think he was picked up to send a message to Shepherd - shape up or be gone. I'm rooting for Shepherd to shape up.

I'm more excited at this point about the prospect of getting Sternberger back.
