  • Great Googly Moogly- Its the official Packers-Chefs Gameday Thread

Its gameday baby and just cuz we have to suffer through the rest of the NFL before we get to watch the Hometown Heroes doesn't mean we have to wait all day for the gameday thread!!

As the responsibility of creating the gameday thread grows stronger I thought i had my get out of work card handy with Pat Maholmes and the Grand daddy of offensive coaches in a road game. Wait...Pat is hurt? FUCK! How long will this madness go on?

Last week Gruden destroyed our newly minted D with the TE position. Want the bad news? Gruden was the apprentice and Waller is good, but no Travis Kelce. I don't care if Mandy Moore is QB the Chiefs or not, the best teacher in recent NFL history will have him ready. He has had 10 days to prepare and Reid was one of the early bye week assassins.

WTF NFL, we are facing our 3rd straight opponent coming off extra rest? All coached by pretty damn good coaches no less? ITS A CONSPIRACY...REID WAS BORN IN KENYA....FLOWER IS A RUSSIAN ASSET!!

Ok, I'm back. My brain hurts. It don't matter. Rodgers is the middle finger we Packer fans love. Fuck the schedule. Fuck great coaches. We got the steel eyed bandit coming back to the top of his game rejuvenated by a fresh offense and a baby faced coach. He doesn't throw red zone pick 6's to end the half against the chiefs when I made a McDonald's run like yesteryears QB did. He doesn't throw red zone picks against the chefs up 2 scores while Ahman Green is dominating the ground like yesteryears QB did. (Man the Chefs have beaten us up over the years). Rodgers is so damn good he even made fat mike look competent.

Truth is I wanted Maholmes in this one and not just to end my responsibility with this damn thread. As my childhood hero said, "to be the best you gotta beat the best". We aren't the patriots beating up the bastard step children of the NFL. We beat Lions and Vikings and Bears..Oh My!

Seriously, we better not lose this one. We are largely healthy and the chefs are out 6 starters including their young version of Rodgers. I don't even know how to break this one down. Reid is awesome, but he is human. A carpenter is only as good as his tools.

Pack wins 38-7 on the road helping us forget that score from yesterday (if your a Badgers fan).

    Take it away Captain.

As is becoming normal, I find myself in near 100% agreement with you again.

I see GB's Defense easily handling KC's (Mahomesless) Offense.

Additionally, I see GB's Offense vs KC's Defense as the most interesting matchup in this game. KC's D is very good and for that reason, scoring may be lower than we might want to see. Low scoring defensive battles don't generate fan excitement, yet sometimes that's what you get.

Green Bay to win by not more 12 points. Could be GB - 17 and KC - 10 .

Bobble's childhood idol is the right winger Nature Boy? No wonder he's fighting for the wrong side.

As for Andy Reid, Packer Nation is forever grateful for his work developing the Gunslinger. But as a HC, Reid is OVERRATED. I mean, Stubby has more rings (as in winning the Bowl as HC) on his fingers than ole Andrew. Stubby woulda won rings - plural - but Todd was the mother of incompetence.

Packers 72, Chefs 0 ( refuse to use Chiefs, as it's as racist as Redskins).

      Power to the Packers!

35-10 Packers is a nice score.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

I'm mostly joking about Flair being my hero. I didn't get to watch NWA. And I had no clue he was a right winger...now he really is my hero!!

As for Reid, he went to 4 NFCC and an Owl with McNabb. Fat mike had mega talent and Rodgers to pull off the same.

i live in the eastern time zone

i just don't get how so many people on the east coast can stay up that late to watch a game that doesn't involve their teams

i almost skipper the lions monday night game a couple weeks ago. i didn't even try to watch it till the second quarter when a lions fan buddy started texting me. i actually felt a bit of relief by not watching it

I loved it when I lived in Cali. Sunday and Monday night games start at 5:15. Finish work go the bar with friends home by 9 in bed by 10.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

KC short kicking to test Packer special teams.
