  • Al Harris and Charles Woodson To Be Inducted Into Packer HOF

    https://www.jsonline.com/story/sport...me/4100409002/

"If I was going to be with anybody, it had to be Al," Woodson said Thursday after it was announced the pair would be the 163rd and 164th inductees into the hall. The 50th induction banquet is scheduled for April 18, 2020, in the Lambeau Field Atrium.

The two cornerbacks played together in Green Bay for four years, from 2006-2009, coming to the Packers by different circumstances, but both finding a home. Harris was traded by the Andy Reid-led Philadelphia Eagles in 2003 and Woodson signed as a reluctant free agent in 2006.

    Very nice. Love 'em both.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I don't know what Al might say, but I might pay to hear Charles go off.

I used to wonder how Al could manhandle WR's at the line the way he did because he didn't look that big. Then I saw this video. He looks like somebody from a Bowflex commercial.

Mike McKenzie and Al Harris were a good duo too.

I guess you guys aren't old enough to remember Herb Adderley, and Jeter too.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Woodson doesn’t get enough credit for the SuperBowl win. It seemed like the defense was taking the ball away every other possession that season.

Herb Adderley and Bob Jeter? Heck, I remember years and years of Adderley and Jesse Whittenton and a few of Adderley and Doug Hart before Jeter took over as the starter. Whittenton was a great CB, too; and Hart just a notch or so below that.

I remember Jeter well. He was a heck of a shortstop.

Great leader. Owned the “W” position- hasn’t been filled since (see Amos on Sunday for pale comparison).

Tramon deserves tons o credit for that SB run too. Philly and ATL wins esp.
