  • Official 2020 Other Playoff Games

    Courtney Cronin @CourtneyRCronin
Mackensie Alexander (knee) is OUT for Sunday. Mike Hughes has a neck injury and is being placed on IR. Major blow to the Vikings cornerback unit.

In other news, Minnesota signed veteran return specialist Marcus Sherels ahead of the Saints game. He was with both teams in 2019.

    Doug Farrar @NFL_DougFarrar
Welp. Down to Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, and their combined nine touchdowns allowed to one interception. Rhodes has allowed an opponent passer rating of 127.8; Waynes has allowed 109.9.

Against the NFC Offensive Player of the month, and the NFL's most uncoverable WR. Whoopee.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

How did it happen that both AFC games are Saturday, and both NFC games Sunday? I could be wrong, but I don't think that ever happened before.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Was thinking same thing, Tex. Looks like they are giving 1 seeds next Sat (one more day of rest before Conf Championship games).

Since the NFL went to the current eight-division format in 2002, this is just the second time that the games have been divided up this way.

Thanks for the link, Fosco. For anybody that wants to read it, that retarded pay wall was there the first time I clicked, but when I tried again, the second time is wasn't there for some reason.

It seems to amount to, like somebody said, TV considerations more than anything else - ratings.

Not saying it’s gonna happen, but I could see any three of these four games being an upset.

Saints are the only sure thing, IMO.

Hmmmm. Maybe Tom Brady should consider throwing shorter passes?

                              Josh Dubow
Since 2010 when Rob Gronkowski entered NFL, Tom Brady has a 104.3 passer rating in games Gronk played (2nd to Mahomes) compared to 88.1 when he didn’t, tied with Matt Schaub for 26th best out of 52 QBs w/ 1000+ attempts
