I don't understand how we lose a TO if they ruled it a fumble, which is what we were challenging.

Why does there have to be "evidence of a clear recovery" if it is clear there was a fumble?
Many fumbles involve an ugly fight for ball in pile ending in bite marks and crushed testicles.
