I was actually thinking of Ted Hendricks but Erik Walden makes sense too.

Also that linebacker who was okay then ended up playing for the colts.

      Ted Hendricks???
He was an All-Pro with the Colts before being traded to GB, and then went to Oakland. He was done playing while Thompson was still a player himself.

        Sorry, lame attempt at humor.

Shoelaces Smith his teammates used to call him.

Also, honorary mention of Lawrence Guy who also played for the Colts and then Nw England. He wasn't a UDFA, but he was close.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

That's a complete fabrication, as they say.

One really good one every three years or so.

We have Raven Greene, Tyler Lancaster, Alex Light, Yosh Nijman, Curtis Bolton and Allen Lazard as the most likely UDFA success stories on the current roster. Plus this year's (who knows) class.
Raven Greene and Alan Lazard have already shown they can play in the NFL. How good the become is the question mark. I have high hopes for Nijman. He is a mammoth and light on his feet. I want to see more of him. Also, you missed Frank Zombo. He has had a pretty solid NFL career.

Like Greene and Lazard, think they will amount to something.
