I read that because they had a Sunday night road game, they won't practice until Thursday.

Lazard out with a core injury. Getting looked at by a specialist to see if he needs surgery per Matt schneidman and bob demovsky. Gonna be seeing even more big bob and jace coming up.

Davante looks to be back, so that's good.

Gonna be lots of running and play action in our near future with some efficient passing and staple MVS bombs. Lazard will be missed for however long he's out. Damn! Might be our first long term injury of the year! Fuck!

It wouldn't be the worst if it's like 8 weeks. Get him back and work him into shape leading into the playoffs. A season ender would be a tough pill to swallow though.

Sports hernia surgery has a time table of 8-12 weeks before gradual return to sports.

4 weeks jogging
8 weeks moderate practice
10 weeks maybe full practice
12 weeks part time player
14 weeks maybe fill time


Ugh, that's week 17 of the season. We might have him as a rotational player in the playoffs if he has surgery

It's not as bad as losing Adams or Jones, but still a hit. Lazard brought a lot of that run/pass stuff to life with his versatility. Jace, Bob and Deguara have shown similar blocking aptitude. But lazard was a rare elite blocker who could also really win deep.

Tough year at that position. Starting with Funchess opting out, you could argue Packers have now lost 3 of their top 4 WR's. I wonder if Robert Foster could be a surprise callup from the PS. He at least has some experience. Had a good rookie year at Buffalo in 2018. Don't know why things went south for him in 2019.

That's a big blow. Adams, even if he plays Monday, will he be 100% - probably not. So we're left with butterfingers MVS and a bunch of nobodies at WR. No bueno again.
