  • Under pressure

Last year z was the most effective player in the league at putting pressure on the qb at a 18.2% of snaps played rate. This year it is 5%
P Smith has a puff grade below 50... Ruhroh shaggy.
Much maligned rashan gary is by far our best player at getting qb pressures and he has a total of 7 after 3 games.
Wtf. Last year we were one of the best teams to get pressure. But this year we play are in the bottom 5.
Clark maybe part of the problem but can't account for it all. Perhaps we just clicked last year and are regressing to the mean this year but just shot past the mean into powderpuff territory.
Did our d have a tell that other teams picked up on?

Why can't we have a decent d when our o is on fire.

      19th in YPG
      18th in Passing YPG
      14th in Rush YPG
      21st in PPG

The D is slightly below average, which is actually way better than most of the last decade.
