our offense dominates sup par defenses. Lowry is a nice backup.

    Good win
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

RUSS WILSON throws the best deep ball in the game; not even close IMO

Pretty much every throw is just so pretty. I watched the old school QB style competition with him throwing at moving targets a long way away and it was incredible how good he was at it. Awe inspiring.

D is rounding into shape. Line is playing well,
Preston Smith showed today, and Alexander is pitching shutouts. It would be interesting to see what they look like if they could ever get all their LB's healthy at the same time.

For sure. Kirksey might not be the answer, but he’s a vet and can be counted on. Barnes splashes every week. Kamal splashed today. Long term, it looks like a good twosome with Barnes and Kamal. Pettine gonna be looking a lot smarter if that’s the case.

It looks like both Lowry and Lancaster are backups now or at least both will be spelled a lot by the other guys. Lowry and Lancaster fresh and basically bench players is a big upgrade over them starting.

I like the rotation of D Linemen. A lot of shit has been spewed about Clark. I doubt he is 100% yet. I'm still negative about the Northwestern duo of duds. Montravious has been more than decent. Keke hasn't been as good as earlier in the season, but still ok. I like Billy Winn. Keep Lowery and Lancaster if we must keep them, but as #5 and 6 D Linemen.

I hope Kirksey never sees the field except maybe special teams. Barnes and Martin have both looked like real honest-to-goodness NFL ILBs. Summers stunk today, but even he has played better than Kirksey before the injury.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Capt Kirk is the Packers’ best cover LB. Without Kirksey, opposing offenses have been able to exploit the middle of the field with ease. Perhaps Barnes was playing the “Red Sparrow” defense (the antithesis of the “Pistol Force”) where his primary assignment was to “spy” on Watson, not coverage. But Barnes sure as fuck looked a lot like Martinez patrolling the middle. Recall that Martinez was an abomination in coverage.

I, for one, would like to see Ole Kirk back at the Mike.

It's a real rotation right now. Snap counts:

                    Kenny Clark - 43-63%
                    Kingsley Keke - 30-44%
                    Dean - Lowry - 29-43%
                    Mont.Adams - 23-34%
                    Billy Winn - 6-9%

                      Nice!

Lancaster has a spot when he gets back I’m sure. Even if its only short yardage, he brings a little something and protects against injury. Winn too. He’s basically a cheaper Lowry. He protects against injury. I think we need all of our guys because none of them are good enough to be “the guy”. They need a rotation so they’re playing fresh and with an advantage.

We’re actually in a really good spot to keep them healthy too. If someone is dinged up, you can afford to sit them for a week or two because the other guys are there.

Montravius had a couple of decent plays but he was also on the ground or moved out of his gap more than I'd like to see. He's either very good or very bad. Josh Jackson is the same. The DL was ok in this game but HOU doesn't exactly have a top 10 OL. The OLBs got some pressure but this defense looks like it's talented but dumb. I don't get a sense they play smart and I don't know if that's coaching or instincts.

Kamal Martin didn't embarrass himself, which is a good sign. Ty Summers couldn't stay with David Johnson on that end zone throw. Krys Barnes absence was noticed at times. Burks didn't look bad but he's gotta be last on the ILB depth chart. I had high hopes for him when he was picked but that he still isn't playing much is a bad and telling sign.

Raven Greene seemed to get picked on by Randall Cobb and Watson, but if Jaire and Sullivan are shutting down the other receivers (they did a nice job on Fuller, and kept Cooks under wraps) Cobb is past the stage where he'll kill you like Davante. Will Redmond did good enough, and it was interesting to see Vernon Scott got snaps.
I continue to think the outside CBs give about 2 yards too much cushion. Amos struggled as the single high safety but played decent otherwise. The secondary overall held up ok with replacements, considering they were without half their starters (King and Savage).

On offense, Billy Turner is not Bahktiari but he held on there. Wagner had some ugly moments against Watt, but he's clearly better at RT. Rodgers and the team played with a chip and it was obvious GB was the better team from the kickoff. Adams went off, based on body language Rodgers likes Malik Taylor, and MVS...had a few good blocks and um...ran a nice end around? Tonyan and the other TEs chipped in a little but I expected more from them. Jamaal Williams made some money today and played tough as always. Nothing spectacular but just efficient enough. AJ Dillon slipped on one run and ran into a brick wall on two other runs, he didn't look great but the blocking wasn't really there either. Nice to see him get snaps and that they sent him on routes etc. was nice. Dexter Williams is on thin ice after allowing that punt block; I noticed they put Jamaal in his spot as edge protector on the next punt.

Getting Bahk and Jones back next week vs. Minny will be important. Gotta beat division teams to make the playoffs.

Interesting observations overall. I don’t know if Bakh is needed in the next one. Minny is without Griffen, Hunter and now Yannick too. I don’t picture them being able to exploit Turner much more than Houston did. I hate to say it, but I wanna see another game without Bakh and then maybe an actual tough DE vs Turner to see what life after Bakh might look like

Based on what I saw, Ty Summers was the only one taken advantage of Sunday. Barnes and Martin did all right. And I've never seen anything good from Kirksey against either runs or passes.

Turner was blocking most of the game against Whitney Mercilus - no slouch of a pass rusher. I certainly wouldn't say Turner dominated him, but Rodgers, after that first sack (which didn't count due to the penalty) when he underestimated Mercilus' speed, was able to make do with less than perfect pass blocking - as he pretty much has done for his whole career.

I hope we can find a way to keep Jamal Williams, but decent as he was, he ain't Aaron Jones. Jones gives the Packers that breakaway dimension which Jamal or Dillon do not.
