Yeah, I didn't like the two PI calls on Alexander and Jackson, and especially since the flag on the throw to Tonyan was picked up. It would have been a little ticky-tack, but his arm WAS around him and he made contact before the ball. All that said, the refs should never be the ones deciding a game... the GB D is not doing its job today. I said before that Dalvin Cook is what makes their offense go. Shut him down and they are limited.
Armchair-Pro Tip: when the RB is lined up 7 yards deep behind the QB, it's probably a run.
This goes to my suspicion that this defense is talented but not smart. i.e., the whole < sum of its parts, which could be coaching, scheme, or execution (I'm guessing coaching).
I just feel like a player who studies film should be able to anticipate and call out what the offense is going to do, and it doesn't look like that is happening. I was calling what MIN was going to do...it's not that unpredictable of an offense.Comment
