  • Official Packers at DaBears SNF Game Night Thread

Packers Vs Bears, that has a lot of meaning in the world. To most the first thought is the greatest and oldest NFL rivalry. To the Shadow, who was but a teen back then, to Rashangary, who I would bet has gotten into physical fights over it. The range in generation remains true that the Bears are most hated.

For me it is fun but sadly I don’t have the hate for them that most do. Due to the pounding they usually get vs Packers they are almost a little brother. My location plays heavily into this as well. My disgust leaning mostly towards 40niners and Harlan Huckleby. My strongest memory for the Bears rivalry is traveling halfway across the USA to the fated PackerRats game. This was 2007 at Lambeau and yes mofos, a SNF game. It was a fine contest but ended in a failed comeback that had life for a moment.

Walking out was complete walk of shame, horrendous bears fans even took pictures of GB fans exiting to add to it. From an NFL experience it had been a great weekend. Arriving on a Saturday night and bar hopping with a large group from this site. One of the coolest, funnest nights of my life I would dare say. All marred by what was supposed to have been a likely win. The Curse of PackerRats had begun.

Back to now and what should be a likely win in SNF against the Bears. I have called a couple of GB losses this season but today the good guys don’t lose two in a row. They just make all of you sweat it. Packers 23 -Bears 20.

Bears Defense and ST look good as usual. I say pack by 10.

Strange to see you start this post Mad. Hopefully it'll be good juju.

Dangerous thing about the Bears is that in low-scoring games, one flukey play can be the difference. They just don't mean as much in higher-scoring affairs.

Bears have been living and dying off this formula for about 20 years.

I think next year in a post covid celebration you should renew the annual Rats game. I would like to meet some of the posters...even clown shoes. Passionate Packer fans are always fun to drink with.

I haven’t done one in few years. I do have a winning record

I have never been one and done it appears. I will be testing out that curse tonight.

Hard to run outside on Bears defense.

Turner with a great job standing Mack up while Jones ran the B gap. Mack likely a little tentative after the misdirection the play before.
