I'm on record saying Crosby is overpaid - even though he has been very reliable for a long time. It just isn't that difficult to find a big leg kicker coming out of college or off the scrap heap - 25 or 30 college kickers graduating every year, there almost certainly are a few good ones. Mike Nugent, age 38, got picked up by the Cardinals when there regular got hurt, and he had a nice game. Next year, money/cap space is gonna be tight. I wouldn't be surprised or upset if Crosby is one of the cap casualties.
As someone who likes NFL oddities, I was in favor of cutting ties with Crosby for “Young Fat Ho.” That being said, Crosby actually did kick the rock into the end zone on that long return. Returner took it out as if he was DK Metcalf’s uncle, former Pack great Eric Metcalf.

The 57 yarder was “dagger,” but mathematically, it an absolute coin flip.

Ok, fine, I'm not hung up on getting rid of Crosby hahahaha. Yes, he's damn good and reliable. The fact the guy took the kick out of the endzone says more about disrespecting the Packers' special teams in general than Crosby, I guess. I'll revisit the topic in 2022, and I still don't think it should be that hard to find a good kicker.

APB, you played kinda fast and loose with the facts about your boy, D.K. According to Google, Eric is his cousin, not uncle, and Eric played for the Browns and Chargers - I couldn't remember him being a Packer. If he was, it was a short time late in his career.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

          Right?

It's a good statement about the team, certain position coaches, certain players that week in-week out, the same folks end up being labeled as Studs.

MVS. I hope it's not a one game Wonder. He managed to do the things that we all worry he's not capable of, taking advantage of soft coverage and running good routes and catching with his hands.

If you did, would you catch it with your hands?

Chronic porn addiction might be fucking with my memory. First, I mistook Chase Daniels for Mr. SKOL, Case Keenum. Now I have Eric Metcalf confused with the great Allan Rossum, a Sherman acquisition.

Hah. Guys would ask you to do this for them in formation as a joke. I never thought it was all that funny at the time, but there is a certain derranged humor looking back on it now. How did these goofballs get promoted? Haha
