When having the FR bye, Rodgers reached the championship game 3 out of 4 times. So had the Packers been more serious (or proactive) about obtaining a bye week, then perhaps we have more NFCCG appearances. And more bites at that apple maybe means more SB appearances.
What stopped that are definitely the limitations from the previous post: UDFA-tier players or stale coaching (or both). If I'm Rodgers and I see Walden, MD Jennings, and Gunter continually messing up in a defense that everyone has figured out, and later a predictable and outdated offense with no weapons (or unused ones like Jones for years), I'd be furious.
