Who cares? This guy is so much better than Haskins. Who else was a top 15 pick at QB for Ohio State?

Tedford QBs were all busts--until Aaron Rodgers.

At 6'4" 304 with shorter arms, I don't see a top flight OT. He'll be a top flight OG eventually.

      • Chargers need an OT. Slater or Darrisaw?
        I can't run no more
        With that lawless crowd
While the killers in high places
        Say their prayers out loud
But they've summoned, they've summoned up
        A thundercloud
They're going to hear from me - Leonard Cohen

Yea that Tedford thing sure was a bummer. Agree though. Just because the guys before were bad, past performance is no indication of future performance.

That T-Rex arm thing is overrated in general.

Yep. I live in Ohio. Seen plenty of the kid. He's a player. Many recent OSU QBs had a major flaw of some kind. Weak arm. Lack of mobility. Not Fields.
It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

That + the size though = OG. He'd be a unicorn if he's a good OT. In the 6 years, there isn't one OT at his size with his arm length that is a top flight OT in the NFL. The only guy who came close is Jedrick Willis, but he has monkey arms (34 1/2").

i think if a lineman in college is a pro caliber player and can play tackle, you would have him playing tackle

he wouldn't just be playing guard because the guys playing tackle are just better

I get it. The Bear will screw this up, but maybe not. And that's scary. They really didn't give up that much either.

lol, ok. I'm sitting here, having an Innocente charcoal Porter and chatting so maybe I'm oblivious to it. This last year has had that effect on me
I'm well and hope you are too!

Everybody said that about Brian O'Neill, right? That proved bullshit. The difference between LT and RT is shrinking as teams get edge on both side these days. Vikings are not looking for a Bryant McKinney road grader.
