      • Gute probably won't pick one offensive player just to stick it to Rodgers.

          • The Georgia cornerback who ran a 4.25 40-yard dash and ably covered the likes of Jerry Jeudy, Justin Jefferson and Devonta Smith during college could be a star.

              • so this has always been one of my favorite draft sites

they have him rated very high. they have him as the 4th best CB

Two-year starter as an outside corner and played a lot as a freshman also. Gained an elite reputation and teams avoided him in 2020. Best attribute is his ability to locate and play the ball. Decent amount of experience in man, and more experience in press coverage than most college corners. Plays very physical and can probably be an asset in coverage versus bigger receivers. Biggest question: is he quick enough to also hang with smaller, shifty receivers? Probably won't be a CB who can shadow each team's best WR, but can be great if he's paired with other CBs who can handle the matchups he struggles in.

I probably would have went Barmore or JOK. However, he was my #5 CB. The top 4 are off the board. 6'1" and super athletic. He ran 4.31 at his Pro Day with a 6.9 3 cone, 38 1/2" vertical, and 128" broad jump. He's very scheme versatile. He can play zone, man, and press. He has solid ball skills, solid tackler, good instincts. He and the other Georgia CB can get grabby at times though.

                  • Stokes? Meh. I mean, he's a corner which they needed, but I guess the trade down offers must not have been there. I think they could have gotten him at #35.

At least it wasn't a QB, RB or TE.

U/O on the # of Rodgers questions at the Gute draft presser?

                    • Such a Packers pick. Hopefully it works out as good or better than the Savage pick.

                      • Well, at least we got a Corner. I would have taken Samuel, but this guy might be all right - good speed, tall, physical. I'm relatively happy with the pick.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

                        • With all of the 1st and 2nd round picks we’ve thrown at CB’s we should have the best secondary in the league. Instead we’re constantly searching for another decent CB. I think we’re going to keep on searching after this. Admit the scouting process sucks and fire everyone that doesn’t grade mid-round offensive linemen.

He's solid. Like taking a OT there with our needs he should definitely help. I think most projected him in the 30-40 range from what I saw. Great athlete. If he develops he could be a dam good CB opposite our stud.

Shame Bateman came off the board.

I think there must be character concerns with JOK. Surprised we didn't go with the DL but what I read indicated his motor was on and off at time as well so maybe that's why he's falling
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

                            • I do like the speed... We need to continue to upgrade there. He doesn't have to be a #1 corner for us, so I'm hoping this works out. As long as he doesn't get burned deep with seconds left in the half of the NFCC game, I'll manage.
