Doesn't each team have in the SB have a QB? So, that would be 100 QBs (since the last was XL), unless you want to count backups too....Originally posted by ZoolWell someone still has to figure out how many QB's have gone to the Super Bowl.

Also:
Quarterbacks in the Hall of Fame, who didn't win a superbowl, but were drafted in the first round.
Sammy Baugh
Sid Luckman
Otto Graham
Bobby Layne
Y.A. Tittle
Jim Kelly
Dan Marino
Peyton Manning has a good chance of making the Hall of Fame
* Lesson to be learned here -
If your team wants a star quarterback for the future, they should probably pick one in the first round.

Last Super Bowl was 40, not 50. And some losing teams have used two QBs. My list doesn't give starter. The total who have started for both teams is 80, and number who have participated is at least 42.Originally posted by jack's smirking revengeDoesn't each team have in the SB have a QB? And remember, Earl Morral started the Super Bowl 3 for the Colts because the actual starting QB (Unitas) was hurt.Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Unitas started. He threw a touchdown on a fluke play where the ball bounced off of a couple of players before being caught by John Mackey who took it to the house. Unitas also threw two interceptions. He left the game with bruised ribs in the first half after a sack/fumble. Morrell then came in.Originally posted by pbmaxLast Super Bowl was 40, not 50. Duh! You're totally right. Thanks for the correction. I'm not usually that bad with deciphering roman numerals. Too much coffee today.Originally posted by pbmaxLast Super Bowl was 40, not 50.
