Although I would have done this deal, too, the Packers offered him. However, you're incorrect about "w/o significant injury history." He just tore his ACL in Oct. 2020, which a lot of people say has had a great affect on his speed and cutting.Originally posted by call_me_ishmael View PostWhat does washed up even mean in this case? How can a 29 year old without significant injury history be washed up? He is an electric and special player, just a head case. I would have done this in a second.

"Based on reports, it's little wonder why Odell Beckham Jr. signed with the Los Angeles Rams instead of the Green Bay Packers."
Odell Beckham Jr.’s contract with the Los Angeles Rams could be worth up to $4.25 million, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The Green Bay Packers reportedly offered Beckham the minimum.

No, no, no, not according to "Tex" Western at Acme. The Browns are paying the difference between what OBJ was offered and $4.25 million, which is the termination agreement the Browns reached with him. So unless somebody offered him more than 4.25 mill, money was not a factor.
So indeed, the In-n-Out Vs. Culver's debate is real. Though I think myself that a debate between Miss California and Miss Muskie would also play a role in OBJ's choice.
LA equals more exposure and probably about the same chance of getting to the SB as in Green Bay."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

That was a true Packer highlight my friend. Best $20 I ever spent. Was it $20? I don't remember now. I remember you protected that Favre jersey though. ha haC.H.U.D.

OB has the excuse that Stafford ain't Rodgers if he doesn't shine in his season with the Rams. He doesn't have that excuse with Green Bay. The money in '22 onward was a factor in his choice.
He's not as horrible as he looked in Cleveland and he's not as good as he thinks he is. Where the needle falls within the pegs will be seen in the coming weeks.
