Packers could win this one with Love, but I don't think anyone in here would argue that Rodgers give them a much, much better chance of winning. The whole Rodgers situation sucks and there's no way around it - it is what it is - can't change it, Rodgers is out, Love is in.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing what Love can do with the offensive starters. I'm always hopeful for a Packer win, but with the current situation, I'm preparing for a loss, but I just want Love to show me something, anything for that matter.

I'm reminded of a Packer game, years ago when Rodgers was maybe in his 2nd or 3rd year with the Packers. I believe the game was against Dallas, where Rodgers came in, somewhat early, cause Favre got hurt. Although I can't remember what happened in that game, I probably thought all is lost, Clipboard Boy Rodgers sucks, Packers can't win without Favre, etc. I do believe the Packers lost, but came close at some point and if memory serves, Rodgers looked pretty good for coming in on a moments notice. What sticks with today from that game, I felt the Packers would be OK if Favre were to retire and Rodgers stepped in. Win or Lose on Sunday, I hope I get that same feeling after the game about Love.

That game against Dallas was when I knew he was legit. The game wasn't too big for him.

Unfortunately, he is now too big for his britches.

I'm gonna' have faith in Love.

Gute has a lot riding on this game from a public perspective position. If Love looks really good, it can validate the decision he made. If Love looks really bad, well, it will give fans a bunch of ammo for handling the Rodgers situation for the last 2 years the way he has.

That was the NE game. Pack lost 35-0. Super cold mid-November game. First game at Lambeau Field with my wife. ARod sucked but had to run for his life all day. Broke his foot and was IRed for the season the next week.
But Rodgers leads the league in frumpy expressions and negative body language on the sideline, which makes him, like Josh Allen, a unique double threat.

You're talking about 2 different games. The game you were at was November 19, 2006. I was there too. The game pittstang is talking about was 2007. Rodgers came into the game with the Packers down 10. Got hem to within 3 before losing by 10.

Actually, it was something like 27-10, Cowgirls, when 12 dashed in for an injured 4 in the 2nd quarter.

Matt LaFleur said both Davante Adams and Joe Barry are back in the building and out of the COVID protocols.

"It's great to see those guys," LaFleur said. "They're fired up to be back. It's a huge benefit to this team."

Dean Lowry and Jack Heflin were back at practice Thursday. Kingsley Keke wasn’t practicing

Davante Adams was in the Hutson Center during stretching but stayed inside when practice started #Packers

A legendary QB who came up just short of the Super Bowl with Nathaniel Hackett as his offensive coordinator is back in the building.

                    QB2 Blake Bortles, everybody.

A moon shot to MVS would be cool.

Well, hopefully. Lazard is back. Officially Adams is still on Covid list and MVS is still on IR. Should know for sure tomorrow.

Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.
