Going to watch the Bears game with interest. Lots of melodrama down here in the flat land surrounding the Chicago football team and what the future holds for the coaches, front office personnel and ultimately the players. I want to see how the players (and their contracts) perform. My gut is telling me next week's game at Lambeau is setting up as a trap game.

Or a ref jobbing. We’re good for one or two referee games where they take over the game.Originally posted by QBME View PostGoing to watch the Bears game with interest. What's interesting is apparently Aaron Jones' birthday is the same date as Rodgers. Numerology is crap, but coincidence isn't.Originally posted by scharpcheddar View PostMccarthy doesn't coach on Rodgers bday.. interesting.
Rodgers turns 38, while mccarthy is on 138 wins currentlyWhat could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Wasn't that similar to a questionable call against the Packers last week? Are they suddenly emphasizing that now or something?Originally posted by HarveyWallbangers View PostConvince me that this blindside block call isn’t the worst I’ve seen since Fail Mary? What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Not even close. A DL was chasing Rodgers from behind and Patrick threw a legit blindside block on. On this one the FB blocked a blitzing edge player head on and the QB went straight back in his drop.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostWasn't that similar to a questionable call against the Packers last week? I saw the game and the play, and it looked very similar to what Patrick got called for - a block just to the back side of center mass as the pass rusher was bearing down on the QB. Apparently that's against the rules. I would suggest it shouldn't be, and I don't think it's been routinely called. What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

Basically this. Patrick's was a legit penalty, but it was close to being legal - just caught too much helmet.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangers View PostNot even close. The play last night was just bullshit. If you're pursuing the ball you should just turn your body to make yourself defenseless. Then it's a penalty. How is a passrusher defenseless against a RB in blitz pickup?
Reminds me of playing recreational tackle football. It was rugby style tackling, but rather than tackling from behind you could two hand touch. People would try to sidestep you to get behind you rather than just tackling you until they figured out that shit don't fly.

Wrong, numerology is the truth. It shows calling something coincidence is for fools.Originally posted by texaspackerbacker View PostWhat's interesting is apparently Aaron Jones' birthday is the same date as Rodgers. Numerology is crap, but coincidence isn't.
I mean seriously..? How can you be so ignorant to think a coincidence is a daily occurrence? If coincidence was real, it would hardly happen.
No, I'm proving that things constantly line up.
