Hoody will be quick to adjust to the weather. He’ll play more single high and zero coverages and use the wind as his extra defender. I wonder if the Bills will be as quick to adapt.

This is McDermott's 5th season as Buffalo HC. I'm sure this isn't the 1st team he's encountered a windy day. I mean, they're right between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.

I'm definitely watching this game, at least the first half. Love crazy weather games - especially when they aren't inflicted upon us.

I've been high on the Bills for the last couple years, but there's something slightly amiss.

IDK if McDermott just has them too wound tight?

I know the conditions are miserable, but neither of these teams scare me.

I'm really curious about Hoodie's process in drawing up tonight's game plan.

Did they look at the weather report last week and realize they weren't going to be able to throw the ball and cook the plan up last week?

Or does he have a file cataloging game plans according to conditions and like the Terminator he just goes through the menu for the correct choice?

I'm not a fan of the guy for the cheating shit, but games like tonight, I have to tip my hat to him.

                    Bills are neurotic.

Packers at their best beat the Patriots, but have to be at their best.

Good showing from Pack and Patriots offenses, both, and we easily win. However, the Bills are capable of much more on offense, which would make a shootout with them a coin flip.

You think that's a good idea, but I've heard that the wind blows.

                        Poor tackler.

That game showed the importance of being able to run effectively and/or stop the run in bad weather. Patriots were able to just stick with the run because their RB's were averaging over 5 YPC. Bills had to try to throw more because their RB's were averaging 3.

I’m not surprised Hoody adjusted more abruptly to the conditions. It helped that they had a lead the whole game. That big run sort of opened the door for a conservative game plan the rest of the way.
