I've read they're likely bringing Bortles back - I wonder if he'd leapfrog Benkert and be the backup, or if it'd be just a worst-case scenario insurance policy.

They keep protecting Benkert and the kicker, JJ Molson. They must like those guys.

But speaking of backup QB's, Tim Boyle got a start for Detroit a couple of weeks ago. He was awful, just awful. I mean, the Lions are awful, but Boyle had two interceptions and a passer rating of 34. The only positive the announcers could find was that he was trying to draw the Browns offsides, ala Rodgers.
