I think Joe Thomas is the top OL prospect this year; he would be hands down if not for the ACL. This team has so many holes; I wish TT would fill in the OL by signing a couple free agents and then look to best available at each pick. Wait, I said that last year.
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I think we need a lot of stuff to make our team better and I don't think we should use a high pick on an OL or DL. I think if we have a top 5 pick we need to draft a skills position. Calvin Johnson or Adrian Peterson would be awesome choices for the Pack. I like partial's idea when he said Calvin Johnson. Our reciever position is really thin and I think that Robinson we be more of a return specialists.

I don't like drafting WR's in the top 5. If you look at the starting WR on every team, here is what it looks like

          Derrick Mason-4th Round, 2nd pick

          Lee Evans-1st Round, 13th pick

          Chad Johnson-2nd Round, 5th pick

          Dennis Northcutt-2nd Round, 1st Pick

          Rod Smith- Undrafted

Andre Johnson- 1st Round, 3rd Pick

Marvin Harrison- 1st Round, 19th Pick

Matt Jones- 1st Round, 21st Pick

Eddie Kennison- 1st Round, 19th Pick

Chris Chambers- 2nd Round, 21st pick

Troy Brown- 8th Round, 2nd Pick

Laveraenus Coles- 3rd Round, 16th pick

Randy Moss- 1st Round, 21st pick

Hines Ward- 3rd Round, 92nd Pick

Kenan McCardell- 12 Round, 20th Pick

David Givens- 7th Round, 42nd Pick

Larry Fitzgerald- 1st round, 3rd Pick

Michael Jenkins- 1st Round, 29th Pick

Steve Smith- 3rd Round, 12th Pick

Muhsin Muhammad- 2nd Round, 13th Pick

Terrel Owens- 3rd Round, 28th Pick

Roy Williams- 1st Round, 7th Pick

Donald Driver- 7th Round, 7th Pick

Travis Taylor- 1st Round, 10th Pick

Joe Horn- 5th Round, 3rd Pick

Plaxico Burres- 1st Round, 8th Pick

Donte Stallworth- 1st Round, 13th Pick

Antonio Bryant- 2nd Round, 31st Pick

Darrel Jackson- 3rd Round 18th Pick

Torry Holt- 1st Round, 6th Pick

Joey Galloway- 1st Round, 8th pick

Santana Moss- 1st Round, 16th Pick

So if you look at those stats you have
          ------------------------------------------------------
7 players in the top 10

          2 in the top 5.

Look at all those late rounders. They outweigh the top picks by a ton. I would much rather go with a safer pick. And not a running back, Because I could bring those stats up, too. But that would take too long. Drafting WR and RB high, unless they are once in a generation, is unneccesary.

Look at some of the reciever that we're picked in the top 10 though. Chad Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Roy Williams, Plaxico Buress, Torry Holt, and Andre Johnson. It looks like pretty much all the top recievers in the league we're drafted in the top10. I mean yeah, you have some guys that slip through to the later rounds but that is very rare.

Yeah if you exclude, Steve Smith, Randy Moss, Santana Moss, Marvin Harrison, Donald Driver, Joe Horn, Terrel Owens, Chris Chambers, and Derrick Mason. And those are top receivers, if we look at succesful receivers, they don't come from the top pick.

And Roy Williams a top receiver? C'mon, I can name 10 guys I'd rather have then him.

And if you read the post, you would of noticed Chad Johnson was drafted in the 2nd round.

                  You tell em Shadow!!!!

Wausau - Very lame poll. You should give fair options. Only giving the option of inside the top 10 is extremely limited and wont allow me to vote.

No doubt, at least wait to have this poll until we've played our 2nd game

We're blowing our load too early on this one. There will be plenty of time to talk about next year's draft.

? 24 Are you saying the Packers are going deep into postseason? If the play at the level as last week the Packers should win 3 games. 3-13. They better win against Saints on Sunday. The saints had a worst record last year then the Pack. If we get blown out in this game I will change my answer from top 3 to 1st overall pick next year!

12 starting WR drafted in the third round or lower.

So my question to you, Wausau, do you consider 38% rare?

I'd say top 4 and I'd be happy with any of these players being picked by the Pack, Calvin Johnson,Adrian Peterson, Joe Thomas or Brady Quinn. I do think Lawrence Jackson from USC could go top 5 also.
