Worth a chance here. Based off tape, he should have gone higher. He was being talked about as 2nd-3rd Round Pick. Didn’t test well. That knocked him down. You never know. Big Z tested poorly.

I wished they kept their pick and took Robinson, but not a yuck for me. Good football player, but a marginal athlete.

Doubs plays though. And Tom wrecked Jermaine Johnson in the FSU/Wake game last year. I love when Wake buttfucks FSU. Only time I really get pumped about college ball, honestly.

I’m going to stay restrained because the guys that I think are going to suck usually do well—except for Shemar Jean-Charles. That guy was like this guy, but at CB. Looks like a football player, but a marginal athlete.

Still some rushers out there who produced imo. He really didn't produce much. Surprised at this one. Don't think Gute considers getting another pass rusher a need
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

He was productive. Lots of pressures, but only 10 1/2 sacks the last 2 years (20 games). Think Gary at Michigan.

Enagbare was one of the highest-graded pass-rushers in the country over the past two seasons, recording an 89.2 pass-rushing grade in 2020 and a 92.5 mark in 2021. While he's not the kind of athlete who hears his name called early, Enagbare has the violent hands to be productive in the NFL.

Just looking at his highlights, he looks more athletic than his numbers. Like his play. We definitely needed another edge. Glad he was still on the board.

OK, you are great at defending Gute and not getting upset . But tell me, was he one of the top 10 players you would have taken there ?

Possibly. I had him graded as Round 4-5 player. I had Robinson higher. Going into that pick, I had Robinson, Enagbare, and Gunter as my highest ranked available EDGEs. Robinson was drafted, so he was my top rated available EDGE, and we need an EDGE. I’m not paying to close attention anymore, so I don’t know who’s available at other positions.

hahaha. not at edge for the whole draft. But this was probably the best pick here. Good edge still on the board at the bottom of fifth.

The little I saw, I was pretty impressed for a fifth rounder. Heavy hands: very high pressure rate..... I never got around to looking at these later guys, Enagbare included. Really, I was pretty impressed he was still on the board.

I’m not defending Gute. I’ve stated I wouldn’t have drafted Walker at #22. I probably would have taken Tom in round 3 over Rhyan. I don’t love Enagbare or Doubs, but they weren’t reaches on my board.

I think Enagbare at the end of R5 is fine. Surprised he didn't test better based on what little I saw of him. 6'4 almost 260lbs with 34" arms is Preston Smith sized.
He might even be a (very) poor man's Preston. His explosion numbers are 'great', and I know that's one thing they like for EDGE. Note: he's listed on RAS at DE, so maybe that impacts how he grades. Still a RAS of 6.26 is a little meh, but I think he's an upgrade over their current backups.

According to PFF he had at least 1 pressure in every single game the last two seasons... so he's probably competition for Garvin, pushes Tipa to the PS, and plays ST as a big body.

Tariq Carpenter is probably a STs pick.

Guys that I didn't scout are starting to get drafted.

Tariq Carpenter ILB GT. Another pick from a Georgia team. Hybrid S/ILB, but with limited ILB training. Decent speed (4.52), and RAS of 8.92, so there's something to work with for special teams.
                                2025 Ratpickers champion.
