Dareke Young was somebody who wasn't projected to get drafted by any of the 6 big boards I use. He was consensus WR44. I had him higher than anybody and gave him a 7th round grade. He tested ridiculously, was used like Deebo in college, and actually looked draftable in the tape that I saw (moreso than Isaiah Weston). I figured he'd get drafted (ala Jeff Janis).

    6'2" 224 with 4.44 40, 4.19 shuttle, 6.88 3 cone, 37" vert, 135" broad jump for a 9.93 RAS
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

Jonathan Ford DT Miami. 6-5 333. Guessing they like the numbers and will stash him on the PS for a year to see if he develops.

There was a nice NFL Draft Sleeper profile. Romeo made the list as did Young. He was referred to as the DK Metcalf of DII
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

          He's a space eater

60 career tackles in 5 seasons

          `14 tackles last year.

          Yawn

I watched Ford against Bama and Michigan State and moved on. I gave him an undraftable grade

He's a big guy who looks like the real deal until you watch him play. then he underperforms. Surprised me was drafted

I tend to agree. They are going to try to strengthen him and coach him up to see if he can be a backup / rotational guy, but that might take time. Really at this point picks are just UDFA worthy players that they give slightly bigger bonuses to.

He has practice squad written all over him. They must see something in him though.

Jack Coan and Carson Strong still out there. Coan is made to be a backup. Leader, no turnovers. Carson Strong has the talent to play in the NFL imo. Let's get one and trade LOVE .....haha.....J/K

                    kind of

                    • Kevin Austin is still available, if we want him. He fits what we like.

                      • Some names I like for our last two picks. No way they'll draft any.

                        EDGE Jeffrey Gunter
                        EDGE De'Shaan Dixon
                        LB JoJo Domann
                        CB Dallis Flowers
                        CB Josh Thompson
                        CB Darrell Baker
                        S Joey Blount
                        S Scott Nelson
                        OT Kellen Diesch
                        TE Chase Allen
                        TE Armani Rogers
                        WR Kevin Austin
                        WR Justyn Ross
                        WR Jaquarii Roberson
                        WR Isaiah Weston
                        RB Kennedy Brooks

                        • OT Rasheed Walker. They had him in for a visit, so not surprising.

                          • He was the consensus #10 OT and was projected to go as high as the 3rd round and no lower than the 6th round, so "good value" I guess. I did not like him much, and I had him lower than any of the 6 boards that I use (outside of the range of experts). He went even lower than I had him ranked.

Mel not much of a fun; was a much better player early on and then didn't do well as a senior.

Mel noted he looks the part but didn't play the part. Said it will be all up to coaching to develop this kid to be better

                              • Looks like it will be a lot of UDFAs for safety and corner competition this year.
