    He has wheels.

I agree with James Jones. Doubs looks a lot like Greg Jennings. That's why I mentioned in another thread that Doubs could be a big contributor sooner than Watson. Jennings was the kind of receiver who was NFL-ready right from the start. I remember the Packers WR coach comparing him to Marvin Harrison. A guy like Watson might have more of an adjustment period.

I completely agree with this. Watson will take time, but he can be used so many ways even early. I really like Doubs, a lot. And both seem like great kids, very much what GB targets early. Gonna be pros: gotta like having Cobb in the locker room for their first year or two.

Hopefully the positivity about Doubs is justified. Watson is the one, though, who seems both NFL ready and has a huge upside.
What could be more GOOD and NORMAL and AMERICAN than Packer Football?

How is Watson NFL ready? I love the kid's athleticism, but he's coming from a college program that did not play against elite defensive talent, and was a run first offense that passed the ball less than 20 times a game. To me, that does not equate to getting a kid ready for the NFL. Watson is going to have a very steep learning curve this year, but just getting behind the defense once a game will be enough to keep defenses honest. He has the ability to go to the house on any snap, which is a threat this offense needed to add.
It's such a GOOD feeling...13 TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS!!

And of the 3 receivers we picked up he has the highest chance of being a total bust

Football family, high IQ/Wonderlic, but mostly just the ability to excel in so many ways. Mark my words (again), and hold it against me if it turns out not to be true. Watson, barring injury, will 1. be the Packers top receiver by a wide margin in his first year 2. be considered one of the top WRs in the league from the first year on 3. outperform the 2022 Raiders version of Davante Adams 4. approach Davante's Packer numbers last season 5. blow away everybody in the league over his career or at least as long as Rodgers is the Packers QB. "Kid gon be the truth,” - Davante Adams about Christian Watson.

Maybe. But also the one with the most potential to be a Randy Moss-type talent. But really, I don't think there's that much chance of him being a total bust. I think his floor is an MVS type player.

Randy Moss is a good comparison, Calvin Johnson too, also APB's favorite, D.K. Metcalf. Watson has all the physical ability of those three plus probably a lot more intelligence and most importantly of all, Aaron Rodgers throwing to him.

You should share the meds your on. There is no way that Doubs even comes remotely close to What Carr and Adams numbers.

You whiners and dumbasses can spew shit all you want, but this was an exceptional draft pick - the best WR in the draft IMO, and in addition to what I said above, he will outperform any other WR drafted this year.

Upon rereading, I see Sparkey was referring to Doubs. Nothing negative about Doubs, but I'm talking (obviously) about Watson - as are the detractors, I think. Keep up, Sparkey hahahaha.

The two years Carr and Adams played together at Fresno State:

                            2012 season: 102 catches, 1,312 yards, 14 touchdowns
                            2013 season: 131 catches, 1,719 yards, 24 touchdowns

And now they are both far better than they were then.

Keep up !? Why are you rambling on about Watson in a thread about Doubs? Unless maybe that medication causes episodes of delirium. If so, maybe contact your visiting nurse.

I have high hopes but he could very well be a bust, I think early on Doubs will look the best as he seems a little more refined, by the end of the season I hope Watson establishes himself, time will tell. I thought Rodgers was gonna be a big time player last year and he never saw the field, hopefully he has a big 2nd year bump as well, I have not lost faith, he also had a great pedigree.
