Thanks for the updates Joe. The defense is exciting. I’m worried about the OL. I actually think the OL might be a bigger concern than the receivers.

With full disclosure that I have no idea medically what it should look like - Kylin Hill to the untrained eye looks phenomenal moving and cutting. I"The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Aaron Rodgers on @nflnetwork: "Romeo Doubs has had a really nice start to camp. Getting a lot of attention based on some of the plays he's made. Like the approach, very understated kid, very humble kid...We all feel really good about Romeo and the start he's off to."Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

Rodgers comments on Doubs….. “like the approach”, lafleurs comments about Romeo being the first guy in and establishing a professional routine…. And his college OC saying Doubs is one of the hardest workers he’s ever been around.
Combined with
His size, speed and high route running potential that the scouts talked about when he was drafted.
He’s a guy who will probably meet his potential some day.
I’m a fan of Doubs.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

Sounds like you're in love with Romeo. But who am I to judge?Originally posted by George Cumby View PostI have a chub for Doubs.

There were several aspects of Amari Rodgers I did not like last year. His weight was one aspect - he ought to know better than to go all chubby in his first professional season, you'd think. I can't think of a reason he'd want to weigh as much as he did. He looked chubby, even.
So he slimmed down and was supposedly much sharper in understanding the offense. But one aspect of his game, which I disliked last year, has not changed: he seems leery of returning a punt. Apparently he's still fair-catching everything in camp this summer. You'd think a guy on the bubble would be trying to be a little more daring.
Even when he did return something, he always skipped out of bounds before he could be hit. He could've used a lesson from Mercedes Lewis there. I suppose you could argue he didn't want to get hit and fumble, but he seemed awfully eager to avoid contact altogether.
Which is to say, I won't be sad if he gets cut."The Devine era is actually worse than you remember if you go back and look at it."

Well, there was a report of him drawing Bisaccia's ire because he did a fair catch on one punt. I'm not aware that he's been fair catching everything. In an unpadded practice, he probably shouldn't be fair catching anything, so that's why Bisaccia got angry. Now that he had his conditioning back, the key is getting his confidence back. He's got to be able to put 2021 in the rear view mirror.Originally posted by Fritz View PostThere were several aspects of Amari Rodgers I did not like last year.
